was born in Brilon, Germany, in 1982. On this day, it snowed. Her artistic practice merges painting and graphic storytelling. Moki studied Fine Arts at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg and her paintings and multi-media work are shown in galleries and exhibitions across the globe. Among her publications are art books and comics, including regular contributions for anthologies like “Spring”. Her comics, of which many are set in fantastical-surreal landscapes, often make use of unusual narrative techniques including the lack of conventional panels and page limits. Moki lives and works in Berlin.
