was born in Denmark in 1994. Following her bachelor’s degree at the Kolding Designskole (DK), she studied comics and graphic storytelling under Anke Feuchtenberger at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW). After several smaller publications in magazines, self-published editions or publications within the context of exhibitions, Kaja Mayer completed her Master’s degree with her book project „Was drängst Du denn so wunderlich, Mein Herz?“ which will be released by Rotopol in the fall.
